School Eye Screening

Awarenes is must among the school students to protect blindness and need to check their eyes in regular basis. As a part of National Programme for Control of Blindness and Visual Impairment (NPCB & VI) Santipur Marami has started School Eye Screening Programme in the year 2016. It has completed most of the school in and around Santipur with the help of Santipur State General Hospital.

All the identified students who have need eye glasses have been provided eye glasses free of cost among them. Till date total screening done among 20000 students and free eye glass distribution done among 1000 students.
