Cornea Collection Service

National Programme for Control of Blindness and Visual Impairment was launched in India to reduce blindness to 0.3% by 2020. As a part of the programme Santipur Marami has started Cornea Collection programme with the help of Prova Eye Bank, Barrakpore in the year 2014 through collection of 2 Cornea. Since then 283 Corneas has been collected and most of them has been transplanted to the blind people. We are feeling proud to help them to see the beauty of the world. Santipur Marami is ready to serve the people round the clock 24x7. We are ready to open a Cornea collection center at our place Santipur so that we can reach out remote areas.
